Were you living in a world of sclusion? Enjoying the peace and silence, as daydreaming becomes leisure on a daily basis. You see each tree shadowed your eyes one by one behind glass windows passing each unfamiliar road.
Beyond that comfort zone, you carefully observe the people that walk by on the sides. Why are they dressed like that? Where are they from? Hmm that guy looks cute. Wow that hair rocks! Truly not knowing what youre missing by admiring behind closed doors. Guess now we know how a mannequin feels like.
The tune of Placebo's Song To Say Goodbye seemed like a perfect song to listen to on a lazy bus ride to nowhere. Having a bird's eye view of upcoming passengers from the front seat on the 2nd deck gives some sort of satisfaction to the senses. Like anticipating the next cute guy to board the bus and hoping he sits next to you.
Rocking and bouncing; it turns and stops. Seems like the neighbourhood gardens became the best nature sights to see along the way and sturdy skyscrapers would create a feeling of awe. Not a moment too soon, a camera would pop out of the bag to snap the next most intersting thing that pases by. What feels like being in a savannah full of life and excitement, the city also brings an uncanny resemblance.
While gazing on the reflection of others, you'd realise the comfort that stinks in the gallows. You feel in control while sitting alone allows you to think and imagine. As the MP3 switches to the next song, the tempo of your mind begins to change. A rock song begins to build a long unfulfilled dream of pulling a gig on the biggest stage with passionate loud fans singging the songs with you; whilst a sad ballad would remind you of that painful memory.

In the backyard the heavy frost lies
Exactly in the shape of the shadow of the house
Minute by minute disappearing as the earth spins
Who would live in such a frosted house of shadows?
Ghosts turned silver with age
They come and go with the rising of the sun,
The turning of the seasons
In summer i think they live in the dew at the edge
of deep woods where the last pasture touches the first trees
Sometimes they slip in among the hickories and beech;
darkening into silhouettes
It is hard to walk in the woods without stepping on them;
What you think is the spongy floor of the forest
is their dark bodies lying all in one direction,
circling the trees they cling to;
always rooted somehow wherever they choose to lie down.
